Betts Group is UK Jewellery Awards headline partner for its 30th edition

Betts Group UK Jewellery Awards

The Betts Group is headline sponsor of the industry’s longest running and most prestigious trade awards event, the UK Jewellery Awards, for the second year in a row.

Taking place on 1 September 2022, the event will mark its 30th anniversary edition with the move to a new, larger, state-of-the-art venue. The UK Jewellery Festival will be held at the Hilton London Metropole on Edgware Road, which has recently undergone a multi-million-pound refurbishment and can accommodate over 800 awards guests.

The UK Jewellery Awards, in association with The Betts Group, will recognise excellence from across the trade in 20 different awards categories encompassing everything from retail and design through to customer service and supply. The Awards will be held on the evening of the UK Jewellery Festival, a daytime trade event and live content sessions, now in its second year.

As part of its headline partnership with this year’s awards, Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold will also sponsor the Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year category.

The event is also supported by the National Association of Jewellers.

Betts Group managing director, Charlie Betts, said: "We are very pleased to be headline partner and a category sponsor of the UK Jewellery Awards for the second year in a row. As one of the industry's oldest suppliers, it feels particularly fitting that we should support the longest running trade awards event on its 30th anniversary. We're very much looking forward to honouring and celebrating the many achievements of all facets of the UK jewellery trade."

Retail Jeweller editor Ruth Faulkner explained: “Having been lucky enough to have been at the 25th anniversary of the UK Jewellery Awards in 2017, I can confidently say that as the event marks its 30th edition in 2022, it is set to be a truly memorable night of celebration for the entire trade.

“We would encourage as many businesses as possible to submit their entries and get involved in this year's event.

“The UK Jewellery Awards subjects all entries to a fair and rigorous independent judging process, ensuring that winning one of these prestigious awards really does mean something and the shortlisted finalists and winners can say with confidence that they are the very best at what they do.”

Entries for this year’s awards are open now until Friday 18 March 2022 on the Retail Jeweller website.
