FOREDOM DELUXE STONE SETTING KIT WITH LX PENDANT MOTOR, 2 HANDPIECES

The Foredom LX Pendant Drill has been designed to work for applications that needs more power like stone setting, wax modeling and pearl drilling. This permanet magnet motor features full power and torque from start up and throughout the entire speed range up to 5,000 rpm. This Pendant Drill has a standard 39" long key tip shaft and a more flexible neoprene outer protective sheath. The foot control for the LX pendant drill looks the same to standard foot controls but it works slightly different, the internal electronics that converts AC current from an electical outlet to DC that is required for the LX pendant motor.

Foredom have included a hammer action handpiece which works with the slower LX model of the Foredom pendant drills due to the fact it has a high torque and a lower speed of 5,000 rpm, this allows the hammer action to be controlled better. As well as the handpiece is not designed to be operated at the high speed. If you would like to use your original drill please take care not to run the drill on full to prevent any damaged caused to the handpiece and your work. As the hammer action hand piece works on a knocking action the tips are not the same as the burrs and drills, they have a screw tread which tightens the tip into the collet.

The Foredom Quick Release Handpiece, Type 18 features a slim grip and pre-lubricated ball bearings that do not require any lubrication. The handpiece is designed as a press lever quick release to relase collet and change the burs.

The 13 piece assortment includes step drills and steel engraving burs in a small round holder.
