This is the new generation of Lampert PUK welders - the PUK 6 has an innovative design and improved functionality. The PUK 6 has an ergonomic operating concept, one-hand joystick with a push tilt function as well as a simplified intuitive menu guidance. Quicker, more powerful and more precise.
Lampert PUK 6 masters the process of welding, precision welding equipment is great for a whole host of jewellery and silversmith applications. The newly optimised welding curves allow seamless weld to be created, the PUK 6 will weld precious metals as well as many types of steel, titanium, nickel and tin alloys, allowing both fine jewellery and costume jewellery to be effortlessly welded. Structures made from sheet or wire elements can be done as tack welds and repairs to jewellery, this welder can work on the small repairs to volume production. The PUK 6 can restore missing parts, filling in porosity by applying welding wire and many more applications.
This PUK welder can weld metal from thicknesses of less than 0.2mm and upwards, effortless process producing strong and robust welds.

The new Lampert PUK 6 has a unique one-handed control, that allows the PUK to be easily controlled, this joystick design has a push tilt function that allows a greater level of control. This PUK has a newly structured display design with improved resolution. Lampert have refined micro-mode that enables new welding possibilities with finer increments in adjustments when welding at the lowest possible performance range.
Lampert have optimised welding curves for all weldable alloys in jewellery manufacturer with higher maximum power and improved welding performance. Particularly with highly conductive metals such as silver, copper and tin alloys due to the new speed function, this means seamless welds can be created costume jewellery as well as fine jewellery. Quicker maximum welding spot sequences due to enhanced speed function, adjustable in three levels.
The 99.9% Argon gas is needed to protect the welding area from oxidation. To weld using the PUK 6 an electric arc (energy flow) is created from the point where the electrode makes contact with the work piece and as the electrode retracts, the electric arc is drawn up from the point of contact. With this precise contact the metal melts between 0.2 and 3.0 mm in diameter (depending on the material and parameters being used), resulting in a clean and stable weld.
The high degree of precision is made possible by touching the work piece with the tip of the electrode, the electrical arc which is necessary for welding is generated by welding generated from the point of contact. By varying the angle at which the electrode tip contacts the work piece, the flow of energy can be influenced. Meaning welds can be accurately directed in the desired location on and previously applied metal can be modelled and distorted.
The PUK precision welding equipment allows a multitude of possibilities, welding findings, adding metal to a workpiece, joining metal together prior to soldering, welding a loop, filling porosity or welding seems, these are a few uses of the PUK 6.
The new PUK 6 welding microscope SM6 has a new elegant design that is perfectly tailored to the PUK 6. This microscope is ergonomically designed for optimum workplace comfort by adjusting the hight and tilt. The cushioned hand rests are designed support hands in a comfortable position. The powerful LED lighting in the microscope head have 4 levels of brightness to create optimal illumination of the working area. This SM6 microscope has electronically controlled LCD eye protection system and has high-precision 10-fold magnification.
Also available with Articulated Pivot arm kit – TOOLSLZ6PA
