Milliput Standard Paste adhesive for precious metals Milliput Paste - Standard The Milliput Epoxy Putty is an excellent adhesive that will bond any of the following to itself or to any of the others - wood, brick, cement, metals, concrete, plastics, glass, etc. Mix equal quantities of the two sticks together to form a consistent mix and then allow to harden for 3-4 hours. Milliput then cures for the same amount of time it hardens for. Once cured, Millput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered, and painted. Standard Milliput. Mix an equal portion of the epoxy and hardener and then mould to shape. Becomes fully hardened in 2-3 hours. Excellent for model making.

Milliput then cures for the same amount of time it hardens for. Once cured, Millput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered, and painted. To mix correctly, mix two equal parts of each stick from the pack. Knead and roll in the hands for at least 5 minutes until the colours begin to merge and become unifrom. The surface of which the putty will be applied to should be free from grease and dirt. Smooth surfaces should be cleaned with a suitable solvent or with soap and warm water to remove dirt and grease. Abrading the surface will improve adhesion. Note that Milliput is not intended to be used in a thin layer. Milliput can also be set under wate and is heat resistant up to 130°C. Milliput is an excellent adhesive suitable for precious metals. It is heat resistant up to 130ºC. It is not intended for use as a thin layer adhesive and should not be used where a thin glue has been indicated. The 2 sticks once mixed is soft and highly adhesive and then gradually hardens. in normal temperature, Milliput will become hard within 4 hours. After setting hard Milliput continues to cure and is fully cured after the time equal to the setting time. There is no shrinkage during setting. Can be used as a jewellery cement and for mould making. Full instructions included.
