This Foredom K.1040 micromotor is slow, steady and smooth with a high torque start which is powerful even at lower speeds. This micromotor is brushless, this means there is no needed to replace the carbon brushes.
There are two settings on this micromotor, setting one has the full speed range up to 50,000rpm, setting two is lower speed 500 rpm to 5,000rpm. This micromotor has a maximum torque of 8 N-cm (11.3 oz-in).
On the control unit, there is a LED digital display, forward and reverse switch, a dial that allows a maximum speed to be set, a switch to be swap between hand a foot control.
This micromotor has the option of four ports of where the handpiece can be stored to allow ease of storage.
