Araldite Instant Clear Araldite instant is a strong, long lasting, solvent-free adhesive which is water resistant and can be painted or sanded. It sets in 90 seconds.
As it is in a syringe dispenser, the dispenser will disperse equal amounts of both components onto the surface.
Araldite instant bonds metals, wood, masonry, ceramics, glass, dry concrete, chipboard, leather, cardboard, fabric, rubber, and most plastics.
When applying make sure the surfaces are clean and free from dust, corrosion, dirt and grease. For optimum bonding, slightly roughen the surfaces with sandpaper and degrease metals with a suitable solvent. During assembly, apply light pressure to the joint with tape or clamps until set within 4 minutes. Allow 2 hours rest for the adhesive to fully gain strength before rough handling or sanding. Suitable for bonding all metals. Ensure the surfaces are clean and dry. Break of the resealable cap from between the syringe plungers and break off the end seal. Depress the plunger and this will release equal amounts from both syringes. Mix for at least 20 seconds, you will need only to eject enough material that you can mix within 3 minutes as it will then dry hard. Apply to both surfaces, remove any excess material with a sharp knife before it has entirely dried. When putting the joint together apply some pressure keep them joined together (use tape) for 4 minutes, it will be 2 hours before completely dry. Should be stored in a dry place at room temperature.
